Why I'm running
I’m running for a position on Salt Spring Island’s new Local Community Commission because I want to see the LCC succeed. In my view, LCC success means significantly improved local government decision-making.
-
Who I am
I am an organic orchardist/farmer and small business owner who has lived on Salt Spring since 2011. In my previous life, I worked as a freelance writer, editor and communications consultant for more than 25 years.

What I can offer
If you elect me as an LCC commissioner, I will bring to the position my experience, knowledge, energy and values. Please click on Qualifications at the top of this page to read more.
Ready to get down to work.
Our community faces serious issues and the LCC can play an important role in addressing them. It’s important for the LCC to be effective from the start and I believe my knowledge, experience and commitment to act decisively could help it fulfill its potential.
